About Me

Student

I'm a student at University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. In 2020 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Minoring in Statistics. I'm currently studying a Master of Science Communication, Endorsed in Science in Society. There's a tiny chance I'll do a PhD. We'll see.

Experience

Worked at ATS Timber, a timber mill based in Levin, for 4 years. One year of manual labour and three years as the Logistics and System Coordinator. In that time I was the health and safety officer, freight coordinator, customer and contractor liaison, developer, and default IT guru.

Hobbies

Aviation is a huge passion of mine. I love flying, and learning about planes and meteorology. I got my Private Pilots License in 2016 after three years of weekend warrior flying and training. In November 2015 I competed and placed at the Cook Straight regional flying competitions.

If anything can be automated I will give it a shot. I'm currently working on a small aurora service that checks the weather, time, and aurora forecast and alerts if all of these factors line up.

Proud uniclyist of 5 years. Currently sporting a 36er that I ride around Dunedin.
